Welcome to Bedwas Aikido Club.

MEMBERSHIP IS NOW OPEN TO NEW BEGINNERS BOTH ADULTS AND JUNIORS.

PLEASE CALL IN TO ONE OF OUR CLASSES TO HAVE A LOOK AND PICK UP A MEMBERSHIP FORM.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TAKE PART IN A CLASS ON YOUR FIRST AND DO NOT HAVE A MARTIAL ARTS SUIT THEN JUST WEAR JOGGING BOTTOMS AND A STURDY TOP.
NO ZIPS, HOODS OR SHARP OBJECTS.


TRAINING TIMES:


JUNIOR CLASS                                       6pm til 7pm every Friday.
ADULT BEGINNERS CLASS                  7:15pm til 9pm every Friday.


DOJO LOCATION:     


School Hall, Ysgol Gymraeg Caerffili, Pontygwindy Road, Caerphilly CF83 3HG


There are ample parking spaces within the school compound.

There are changing facilities available on site, priority is given to the Junior Section so please feel free to arrive ready to train.



Juniors can train from the age of 7 years.


Our Instructor Kevin SHORT Sensei has been practicing Aikido for over thirty years and has trained with many of the finest Aikido instructors in the world. He has a wealth of experience and is able to tailor his instruction to get the best out of all students who are willing to learn and train hard.

Kevin is a qualified coach and we are affiliated to the British Aikido Board.
Aikido is a Martial Art therefore it is necessary for all students to have insurance cover which is included within the annual membership fee.
